Came to aspra tech to enhance my knowledge of Cnc machining the teachers were very patient and made learning not only easy but fun also, the owner of the school is very nice and he always uplifts his students with positive feedback and words of encouragement. Definitely would recommend coming and learning a skill for a career that will be able to take care of you and your family.
I’ve been learning a lot in the CNC program, and I believe this will be a great way to invest for the upcoming future in the workforce.
CNC Program is great. ASPRA is not just a school but a business as well that gives the opportunity to see how CNC operator/Programmer operates on a daily basis. This is great for your future in CNC.
I’m Loving the CNC Program, for someone who Just learned what CNC was 54 months ago. I am confident that this is a great career choice & I’m learning so much from the program. I love how it’s a shop as well as a school.
When I first started my cnc training with Aspra tech center, I knew it was going to be tough. It will be an endless learning experience, critical and precise dimension and tolerances, and a greater benefit to my name, the ones I do it for, and the ones around me. I treat ASPRA like family. Sameer (Owner) and I spoke, and he seen great things I can accomplish and promised to turn me into a great engineer I believed in myself and in the school my teachers and took all the knowledge given to me and applied it to my work and make me a more experienced engineer. Thank you, Sameer, my classmates, ASPRA Tech Center, you all mean a great deal to me. Thank you for teaching me all that you can during my time here. I received my job offer through ASPRA and I am very grateful for this new path that became a part of my new career. This is a great start for 2024.
I found ASPRA Tech Center to be a very helpful for me in my journey to become a master machinist. My instructors Julian, Calloway, and Jim have been a huge inspiration on my experience here. Sameer has given me the tools and inspiration to make myself a better person and worker. As a start my career into CNC Machinist, I appreciate the time and energy that was given to me and my peers. The faith they put into us will only allow ourselves to become the best as we can possibly be, if not more.
My experience here at ASPRA has been a helpful tool in furthering my education and acquiring employment. I learned all the basics to CNC programming and some advanced CNC aspects. The instructors are great and very helpful. I got help finding a job and was even escorted to an interview. I would recommend anyone looking for a trade school to apply to ASPRA CNC training.
I found out about ASPRA through trying to find CNC related school to improve on my life, the process to get in was quite easy and OMJ helped out with the funding for the classes, when I first started I felt like it might've been like high school where I dazzled off and slacked off but the teacher was absolutely amazing and kept my attention on what was being taught, probably one of the best teachers I've ever had of yet through teaching and humor, the hands on experience through him helped out a lot as well and kept me on my feet the SWISS classes were just as interesting because of the different type of machine that I now wanted to learn about but all in all I really did enjoy these classes they are well worth the time and effort put into them and it is something everyone should try!
I’ve been at ASPRA tech for a short three weeks. Learning conversations, blueprint, and geometry. When I came in I was desperate for a change. I had been lost, sleeping irregularly, poor diet, unhealthy routine, and overall didn’t feel I was enough. The first day of class I had slept great. I’ve learned I love geometry. All my life I’ve been a failing student. The way Sameer teachers challenges me to fight my fears of math. He’s sparked the change I needed for me to face other challenges in my life. I’ve even added a gym routine to my mornings, wanting better for myself. I am satisfied with the quality of life I have today.
I convinced myself to go back to school with the help of some job counselors. I was given a contact for a trade school that certifies you in a growing industry that is in high demand for employees. I was intrigued. I have lots of life experiences, and just wanted to find something out of my wheel house that could help me have financial independence.
My first contact at Aspra Tech Center was Barb Hicar.. She is the person that encouraged me to step through the training school door. We connected from the get go. I always enjoyed our chats before I started class. Barb is truly the advocate for Aspra. She inspired me to start back in school. I am so thankful for her genuineness.
So I walked into this building / shop having no clue what to expect. Barb greeted me warmly, and asked me to take a pre placement math test. I completed it, and waited patiently to find out what I was getting myself into. Math yuck ! Sameer Sinha my instructor, who also is the owner of the company, arrived and reviewed my test scores. Great…I thought to myself! I’m so behind mathematically. But instead, I was told how amazing my brain was and not to worry about the score , but it’s used to see where your understanding of the concepts used in CNC Programing fall.
Sameer has been teaching me now for roughly 4 weeks. I can honestly say that this is exactly where I needed to be. I never know what I’m going to learn or take away from each class day. The balance of instruction, self awareness, positivity and sternness have kept me excited to come to class each day. I am challenged to get out of my comfort zone. To learn until I know it. With this type of instruction, it’s really helped me in my day to day life as well.

"CITC has identified the number one need in the growing northeast Ohio (NEO) biomedical manufacturing industry...skilled high precision swiss-type machine operators. CITC's creation of a swiss-type machinists training program will help define NEO as a real player in the global medical and high precision manufacturing arena. The swiss training module is a natural extension of the proven CITC conventional CNC training model."
"As a word of encouragement to you, your training class has had a very large impact on my employee and has been a real benefit to my company. With what Brian learned we are able to get so much more out of our software and we are writing new programs almost constantly. I want to thank you and Cleveland Industrial Training Center for offering these types of focused training classes along with your normal curriculum."
"We at Presrite Corporation consider Cleveland Industrial Training Center to be one of our most valuable resources when it comes to finding well-trained CNC personnel. The training staff at CITC has always been accommodating to our needs when it comes to meeting our staffing requirements. As a Human Resources professional, I personally like the unique blend they offer to their students when it comes to instructing both the technical aspects of the job as well as soft skills training.
Not only have we successfully hired a number of their graduates, but we have also recommended their training program to several of our current employees.
The CNC training program at Cleveland Industrial Training Center is working for Presrite and the partnership we have build together has afforded us the opportunity to keep up with the current demand for skill labor. To all the staff at CITC...keep up the good work!"
"The Cleveland Industrial Training Center is one of the best resources for Cleveland's manufacturing talent. I actually think it's an untapped resource. Some of our top employees have come from CITC and their training has prepared them well. They show upon the first day able to read blueprints, read and use micrometers, and understand basic machining principles. With the addition of their CNC Swiss Machine Operator Training class, CITC will continue to be our first stop when searching for qualified individuals."
"The Eaton Corporation Euclid facility contracted with the Cleveland Industrial Training Center to perform CNC training with employees who had minimal or no CNC experience. After the completion of their 40 hour training session, the students learned the skills to perform basic set-ups on both mills and lathes, set tooling, and G-code programming. These students now have the skills to fill internal job openings as entry level machinists. I would highly recommend C.I.T.C. and their staff for any of the Industrial Training courses that they currently offer."
